FEI Town Hall Meeting

The February 1999 dinner program is your opportunity to express your "two cents worth" in the format of an FEI Town Hall meeting. Ever feel like it would be nice to "give back" to FEI, but there just isn't enough time? Here is your opportunity to be a volunteer in the time that it takes for one single meeting. What better way to support your organization than by attending and offering your input. Please give some thought to:

• What would make FEI a better organization?
• What would increase our membership and attendance?
• What would benefit you the most if it were provided by FEI?

To meet member's needs and improve membership and attendance, the Board of Directors is asking for your feedback and input on:

• Timing and location of both technical sessions and programs
• Ideas for future technical session speakers and program topics
• Continuing Professional Education sessions (CPEs)
• Ideas for increasing membership

Please help us make FEI the best that it can be. If we all pitch in and help out with the Town Hall meeting, we can build our best FEI ever. The more members who provide input, the better we will be able to serve everyone's needs.

The April meeting of FEI will take place on TUESDAY, April 13^th, not on Wednesday as we usually do. Please make a note in your calendar that for APRIL only the FEI meeting will be held on TUESDAY evening, April 13.

Career Services Forum

FEI members in transition can find employment opportunities by attending the member counseling committee meeting. There are guest speakers on the job search process, reviews of how the searches are going, and an opportunity to have your resume and a short introductory letter put on the FEI web page. Tom Schaefer and Joe Warren co-chair the meeting held at Tom’s office, 7333 East Doubletree, Suite 120, Scottsdale, at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 16. These meetings are open to all members.

Mark Taylor, currently with the Spectrum Financial Group, has in the past been part of Deloitte and Touche's Pension Fund Asset Acquisition team. Mark also has five years of consulting in marketing and business strategies and finance and has over two years in residential financing.

Pete Connolly is heading up this year's Nominating Committee to compile a roster for the 1999-2000 Chapter year.
