Sponsored by Aon Risk Services and Consulting Wednesday, March 10 Acquisitions — from A to Z Our sincere thanks to Roger Peck and Greg McClelland of Aon Risk Services and Consulting for sponsoring our March dinner meeting and technical session. This promises to be a highlight evening of the year with two top presenters — one for our Technical Session and the other for our dinner speaker. Members are encouraged to invite potential members to join us for this information-packed evening. Jefferson F. Allen, CEO of Tosco Corporation, will address Acquisitions — from A to Z. Having experienced this, he will start by identifying key points to cover when identifying an acquisition target. Next comes approaching the target and beginning the negotiations. Once progress has been made to that level, the next step is performing due diligence. Then, just for good measure, he'll address expected and unexpected challenges and successes during the integration of operations. We never know when we will be facing the acquisition issue, so we must be prepared. There will be time at the end of the presentation for your questions. Please mark your calendar, invite your colleagues, call in your reservations, and join us for this most informative presentation.
Technical Session Michael Marcon, Executive Vice President of Aon Risk Services and Director of Aon Mergers and Acquisitions Group, will be the presenter for our Technical Session. Mike has 12 years experience in the insurance industry, specializing in alternative risk financing, financial risk management, mergers and acquisitions, and portfolio consolidation and group purchasing programs. He has been a member of Aon-SF Top Producer Panel since 1995. His MBA in Finance is from Drexel University. __________________________________
